When I was still an active EA, the NATP conferences were the absolute best CPE source out there. I thoroughly enjoyed my time as an NATP member, and recommend the organization to ALL tax professionals.
I am who and what I am professionally because of NATP and the great contacts I have made through NATP.
I prepare returns part-time and I depend on the 1040 classes that NATP offers to get me up to speed with what is going on and I get 16 CEU's for 2 days! I have a State Chapter (NJ) who offers classes throughout the year and puts out a great quarterly newsletter. If I have a question, I can call NATP to get an answer. There is not a better organization to have behind you.
I've been a member since 2010. My association with NATP has brought me zero customers, zero professional development, and zero contact with my state chapter in Tennessee. Do not waste your money on this membership.
I have had the privilege of being a member of this prestigious Association and the wealth of information I have garnered has lent itself to the betterment of my practice. I'm fully equipped to represent clients and with all the resources readily available, I am able to be confident in my representations. I always look forward to the annual conferences and the networking.
