The first photo is of the cover of my paternal grandfather's Bible, which he preached from in many NE TX churches over many years. When he passed, that Bible went to my father, and when he passed, it came to me. As the pictures show, it was a near wreck. The cover was falling apart, the pages were stained, some were dog-eared, some were torn in places, some had worn and ragged edges, some were stuck together.
