If you want to truly feel heard and not blown off related to your chronic spine issues, I highly recommend Dr. Whitney. I am 6 months post-ACDF surgery and I’ve had some of the best care I’ve ever received in that time from him and his team. His ARNP Kristin is amazing too. Dr. Whitney is one of the very best doctors I've ever had and I have seen a lot of doctors in my 67 years. He's kind, knowledgeable, attentive & concerned. He's an excellent surgeon. I've had horrible migraines for 50 years and I have very severe arthritis. Dr. Whitney did a fusion in my neck for terrible arthritis pain. The surgery did wonders for my neck and I haven't had a migraine since. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Whitney. I'm so fortunate to have had him as my neurosurgeon.
“wE dOn’T dO sEcOnD oPiNiOnS.” I was originally approved for spine surgery for sciatica and severe disc herniations by Dr. John Shuster at Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists. However, he and their other spine surgeon left the practice before I was able to get surgery. Dr. Whitney and his team restored my ability to use my leg. If that isn't worth 5 stars then literally nothing is. I'm a few days post-op and it's clear that what Dr. Whitney did was sturdy, accurate, and gently done. He explained everything thoroughly, was patient, and was confident in his recommendation.
