I had ptosis surgery Aug 2022. I also asked to have my hooded eyes fixed because they too interefered slightly with my eye sight. I followed all the rules! Did everything they said. My eyes remaind really swollen long after they should have been. He said I was having an allergic reaction to the eye drops so he said disconinue, which I did and that wasn't the issue. I said I didn't like the way it was healing and he said it was how it was supposed to look. Now I cry when I look in the mirror. My once almond shaped eyes are "l... read more

I don't know how Dr. Blessing is as a physician because I never got to see him due to his inept staff. The office manager gave me instructions to drop off 19-year-old records at the front desk at Bascom, only to tell me she didn't know what happened to my records, but they had a digital version anyway and determined I should see someone else. Dr. Blessing performed lid surgery on me. Unfortunately he pulled the kids to tight and caused a massive astigmatism. My 20/20 perfect vision was destroyed. Went to 4 doctors at Bascom Palmer and found it to be the boys club. Nobody would help or even admit what he did to me. I had to have additional surgery to try to correct the astigmatism at my cost. I was left with a crease by my right eye that never went away. 3 years of dealing with his mistake.
