Was a patient for 10+ years under Dr. Ramani who was detailed, attentive, and kind. She retired. NP Caserta has been awful. Office itself not great. Rescheduled my annual appointment twice, delaying it by 4 months. During the year and 4 months I had a rare abdominal cancer diagnosed (5 specialists in NYS treat it) and two abdominal surgeries including a hemicolectomy. This was through 2 separate hospitals. Dr. Alvarez is a caring, fantastic G.I. Which is why I wish I could say nicer things about the practice. Sadly, the NP, Laura Caserta, is an ignorant, condescending person that would rather lecture you than actually try to understand and listen to your problems. My significant other has a serious GI condition that causes her constant pain and grief.
