I called the UIC Outpatient Psychiatry Department several times a day, every day for two weeks to make an appointment with Dr. Joshua Nathan. Only one time did someone pick up- who gave me a basic screening, confirmed the doctor is accepting new patients and was told someone would call me back within 48 hours. Had around 6 appointments with him from 2021-2022. After 2 medications he prescribed didn't work for me, he finally asked me if there's a chance that I *like* feeling sad. Yep, I love feeling sad! That's why I'm paying expensive medical bills for a psychiatrist and therapist. Seeing a new psychiatrist and have had substantial improvements in mental health. Please look elsewhere.
