Dr. Trentacosta and her team are phenomenal. When my two year old fractured his femur, we got in for an appointment at her Tarzana office within a few hours, and she spent ample time with us reassuring us and explaining in detail what the next few weeks of recovery would be like. She was confident and knowledgeable, and instead of sending him under anesthesia to have a traditional spica cast put on, she set us up with a specialty brace that was just as effective. Ran 15+ min late to both appts (inc virtual) and very rushed. Doesn’t do thorough examination, doesn’t ask questions to learn more. Barely takes time to explain diagnosis, orders PT and you’re outta there in 5 min. I think if you need surgery she might be a good choice but for sprains or pain I wouldn’t recommend.
Dr. Trentacosta has the knowledge, bedside manner and kindness many doctors miss. She took the time to explain my issue clearly, discussed options and made me quite comfortable. I would refer friends or family for sure. UPDATE: Im in awe. Less than 24 hours post surgery, no pain, no limp, just did 20 minutes on stationary peddle machine and still no pain.
