I have been under Dr. Krohn’s care since I was 17 years old (8 years) with my chronic disease and I could not be more satisfied. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate which is something you do not see much of nowadays. He will call after office hours if he is concerned about something, personally assure that his patients are taken care of with their medications, procedure scheduling and will see you in person as much as he can during hospital admissions. He goes above and beyond and truly cares about his patients.
I can’t say enough good things about my gastroenterologist. From the very first visit, he has been incredibly calming and reassuring, which makes such a difference when you’re dealing with something stressful like GI issues. He always takes the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and never makes me feel rushed. Dr. Krohn has an incredible bedside manner. He takes the time to listen and explains things in detail. I am not the greatest patient to deal with due to my severe anxiety. At my visit, Dr. Krohn explained the importance of getting a colonoscopy, especially since I never had one and I am 58 years old. In the weeks leading up to my colonoscopy, Vanessa and Merlica answered all my hundreds of questions and had such incredible patience with me.
