Where to begin? Recently went in for a visit with documented preexisting depressive symptoms and all I’ll say is I left 10x worse than when I went in. Grace and Strength is how I’m standing, because there’s no way a doctor should be blatantly shaming their patient. It’s unfortunate that as a black woman in 2025 Dr. Johnson lacked the common decency and comprehension to comfort OR refer an evidently distressed patient to reputable care that would aid in remediating said depressive symptoms. Very nice understanding Doctor. My experience every time I need to go in is great. I don’t wait too long and she listens to my issues and resolved them. Loving going to her West Orange office.
Doctor is wonderful, staffs unprofessional and office charges 25$ for a note to return to work which is more than my co pay
I've been a patient of Dr. Johnson's for about 10 years now. I find her to be both knowledgeable and compassionate. She always asks for my health report before she starts her examination. I really appreciate that she listens to me. A lot of doctors don't bother to listen to what the patient has to say, and they are condescending. I have never had that experience with her. She has even called me to make sure that I'm okay. I've never had a doctor do that!
