Before doing my Audiogram, the Audiologist told me I have wax in my ears. As a physician, I know she could have tympanometry easily to see if the wax was interfering prior to starting the hearing portion. Instead she told me the ENT would have to see me to remove the wax. She proceeded to announce very loudly to multiple staff that I had ear wax.
