After 2 years of searching for the right surgeon for our son, he finally got his surgery for Pectus Excavatum that was compressing his heart. Dr. Nasirov's team switched to using cryoablation for pain control within the last year. It's worked very well for our son. Pain has been sitting at 2/10 mostly and he was discharged less than 48 hours after surgery. Saw side-by-side xrays of pre-op and post-op and his heart shifted back to the midline already. Dr. Nasirov saved my son Austin's life 4 months after he was born. He had a very large hole in his heart. Fast forward almost 13 years later Austin us doing great. He is followed by a cardiologist. His cardiologist told me typically when a baby is born with as big of a hole as Austin had they would typically need more than just one surgery. Austin only needed one thanks to Dr. Nasirov and his team! Now he only has to go in once every two years because his imaging always comes back great!
