NSAI is a great resource for growing your songwriting craft, networking with other songwriter's and they offer some amazing workshops from some of the best writer's/publishers/music professionals in town. If you are serious about a career in songwriting this is something you should be a part of. It is not a "hand out" organization. You do have to put in the hard work, make the connections, be willing to grow as a writer, and be open to criticism. Amazing place with a great staff. I first moved to Nashville to pursue songwriting about a year ago and I did not know anybody. NSAI gave be a place where I could get my feet on the ground and start building a network of talented people who share my goals. I go almost every week and have found that my songwriting has greatly improved from doing so. If you are serious about songwriting, I truly believe that this organization is something you need to be a part of!
NSAI was a great resource for me when I first moved to Nashville and a huge support system for my career. NSAI President Bart Herbison was single handedly the reason I continued pursuing my passion and helped me get my very first major publishing deal. Thank you Bart and NSAI for believing in me and for giving so many writers and artists like myself the tools to master the craft of songwriting!

NSAI is an outstanding resource for anyone serious about building a career as a songwriter. I've received outstanding feedback from pros through their song evaluation program, attended workshops with some of Nashville's best songwriters and built relationships with their amazing staff that I believe will continue to grow with time.
