I wish every new mom could have someone like Izzy to support them in their breastfeeding journey. I didn’t know the first thing about breastfeeding and my son had 4 oral ties and I felt hopeless. Izzy was so consistent and supportive and checked in on me very frequently as we got it all figured out! I’m so thankful I found Izzy, I don’t think I would have been able to breastfeed without her help and guidance. She really goes above and beyond and truly cares.
Izzy was the biggest blessing to me during my postpartum and breastfeeding journey! I had an emergency c section which resulted in not the best experience at the hospital for a first time mom who had no idea what she was doing. I came home from the hospital pumping around the clock to be able to give my baby breastmilk, and was struggling to get her to latch. Izzy was the most amazing lactation consultant! Despite my best efforts, I had several very discouraging nursing complications with everything from weight gain, dairy allergy, tongue tie, muscle tone, plugged ducts, and low supply. Izzy was an expert in each of these areas and was so generous with her time and walking me through them. Best medical care I have ever received! We were blessed to have Izzy Bennett as our Lactation Consultant. I can not say enough good things about her. She is SO knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She has a great office or can come to you. Takes appointments on the weekends. I waited way to long to try to find help and would tell any mother to see Izzy as soon as you have your baby. Izzy is the BEST lactation consultant in the Nashville area. My baby was struggling to take the bottle even after the tongue tie procedure, and 2 other lactation consultants couldn’t figure it out. After a few visits with Izzy, we got her drinking with no problem! Izzy really knows her stuff. She’s not just going through some general list of things to try like others do. Izzy can identify the specific problem, target what needs to be done to fix it, and even tell you why the other exercises won’t be effective. She’s amazing.
