I had an amazing experience at the NASCAR Driving Experience at Dover! I met Kathy and Jordan, who were super friendly and helped me get my credentials. The driver’s meeting was very thorough and set the tone perfectly. Before hitting the track, John, the driving instructor, gave clear instructions and emphasized always listening to your spotter in the helmet, which was really helpful. Took the wife and daughter to do a NASCAR Experience and we absolutely had a blast. I hadn’t planned to do myself and after I watched and talked to Lauren an employee there and then Zak the boss I signed up for a ride along and then drove myself. UNBELIEVABLE. It was a total thrill. I’m active in motorsports and find myself on a motorcycle, working on cars and around this world often. However this was one of the most amazing things I’ve done in years, maybe ever. I could have wet my pants and been ok with it for the next few hours. Don’t hesitate to do this if you have the resources to do so.
ID-ZTLK-031124 Kansas Speedway. We had an an amazing time today!! Everyone at the track was awesome. Unfortunately the printer was down and we were unable to bring home our photo but was assured it would be mailed to us. Dave is still on a high from his experience and hasn't been off the phone telling everyone how great it was. If I could make 1 suggestion I would love it if the spectators had the opportunity to rent head sets so we could listen to our loved ones and the spotters so we could feel more apart of the experience... read more
