As someone who manages multimillion dollar events this was a wonderful event! We arrived early based on feedback from the previous day and got right into the facility! We spent over 5 hours looking at all of the facilities and talking to the scientists. For future events I would agree that more food locations would be beneficial from a speed perspective. Went to the 75th Anniverary open house. Thank you to all the employees and volunteers for their hard work! Was very impressed with the organization of the event. My husband I were not sure what exactly to expect but knew from reading about the event on the NASA website that there would be lots of walking and an idea of what there would be to see. Yes, car and bus lines were long, but everything moved fairly quickly and smoothly. It was wonderful how many water stations there were and how volunteers were passing out free bott... read more
