I enjoyed my stay at the Lodge. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and recently renovated. I will stay here again if I come to Ames even though I was woken up one night by the ghost that haunts Building 19

I stayed in one of the renovated, nice rooms in B19. The rooms are nicer than more expensive hotels I’ve stayed at. I love the overhead rain showerhead and the heated towel rack in the bathroom, it gives a luxurious feel. The rooms are spacious and have a comfortable bed, desk with chair, tv, fridge with a separate freezer (major win), really soft plush carpet, AC, lots of cabinet/hanging and dresser storage, and the TP and Kleenex are thicker than at most hotels I’ve stayed at. 10/10 stay. Heaters barely work blinds were broken, and they make you pay before the end of your stay never experienced that before. But I need to use the lodge to minimize my commute. But the heaters definitely need to be updated and the window coverings need to be replaced
