Very convenient for us to utilize the beach. It would be great if shower amenities were available. 2-stars because of your base security guards. I’m not the type who needs to be saluted to feel valid, but a few of them need to review that salutes are given out of respect for the rank whether active duty or retired. Choose your rate, choose your fate. Salutes are rendered accordingly. It’s a boldface checklist item, and not an advisory.

The beach is great, but they let dogs on it and the dogs shit where people are, which is a biohazard. I read a review about dogs in grocery stores now, and the reviewer said, "dogs are the new smokers." That seems to be the case. Update: went there last weekend, June 20, 2025 and a dog shit right at the bottom of the stairs over the dune then shit again right where kids play. Went here with another Asian friend. The lifeguard started screaming at us and telling us "foreigners" to go home. We're both American. Not okay with the blatant racism and lies as the lifeguard then called the police saying I assaulted her when I didn't even get close to her. She continued to spray racist rhetoric.
