Travelling from Sydney to Adelaide, my hilux, after filling up at Wagga, started running really rough, i managed to get to Narrandera at 3pm and found the 1st mechanic, He couldn't even leave his desk to have a look at it, said he was busy for a week, the 2nd had to take his kid to basketball, 3 rd came out, sniffed in the fuel tank, and smelt petrol.... I read the reviews before writing this. And I'm in total agreement. Steve is a legend!! My brother & brother in law where driving back to SA and inadvertently put petrol into diesel tank which would have destroyed engine if no action taken. Steve drained tank, fuel lines, injectors of petrol and finished with some diesel. He did job straight away, within couple hours and charges a very reasonable price Legend!!
We arrived here with car trouble on a public holiday, right in the middle of an emergency as we needed to get to Sydney to catch a flight. This man helped us with genuine kindness. He took the time to explain everything clearly and got us back on the road. In the end, he didn’t even want to charge us, though we left the little cash we had. No amount of money or words could truly express how grateful we are for his help during such a sad and stressful moment. Legendary service!
We were on a day trip to Narrandera, enjoying a drive through the nature reserve, when our drive belt somehow jumped off the pulleys. We limped over to Narrandera Auto Care and were met by Steve, what an absolute champion bloke. He knew exactly what the issue was straight away and got onto it without any fuss. To top it off, his son Kade kindly drove us into town to grab some lunch while they sorted the car out, and even picked us up afterwards. That kind of service is hard to find.
