I had Dr Joseph Bauer and Dr Andrew Russell on separate occasions. Both were friendly and made me feel comfortable. Good recovery post procedure.
I had surgery on Friday and Dr Scott Buntain was my anaesthesiologist. I cannot sing his praises highly enough. He was such a lovely man, totally calm and had an excellent bedside manner. He explained everything so thoroughly and helped me feel relaxed and comfortable before my surgery. Dr Claire Maxwell attended my partner’s emergency c-section. Dr Maxwell had a calm presence and explained clearly what was going to happen, as well as arranging for someone to take photos and play our birth playlist. Her role was memorable, being by my partners side for most of the operation, and we’re lucky to have had Dr Maxwell as the attending anaesthetist. Michael and Grace
I recently had surgery with Dr Charles Noonan at St Andrews. This was the best experience I have ever had! Dr Noonan was great with (a very nervous me) and I woke up with no side effects at all. Thank you!
Do your research before accepting their quotes. Dr McAndrew chooses to charge above the standard rate for anaesthesia, meaning Medicare and health funds also reduce their contributions - resulting in a significantly higher out of pocket for patients. Unfortunately I have had multiple procedures under anaesthesia in recent years and this is the first time an anaesthetist has done this so it came as quite a shock.
