Do your research before accepting their quotes. Dr McAndrew chooses to charge above the standard rate for anaesthesia, meaning Medicare and health funds also reduce their contributions - resulting in a significantly higher out of pocket for patients. Unfortunately I have had multiple procedures under anaesthesia in recent years and this is the first time an anaesthetist has done this so it came as quite a shock. I’ve had two different surgeries with Dr Scott G. Buntain and Dr Stephen Bruce as my anaesthetists. On both occasions, they were highly professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and in very good hands. The admin team (particularly Nick Holmes) has also been extremely helpful and supportive.

Dr Cox was good at his job I told him about my spine but when I woke up my left side of my jaw was really sore and leading to my neck took a few days to settle down.

On behalf of my wife, she would like to express her deepest gratitude to Dr Nick McKevitt and Narcosia for the outstanding service, empathy and compassion shown during her recent surgery. Dr McKevitt's experience and skills extend way beyond medicine, and his innate ability to sense, understand and respond immediately to my wife's emotional reaction to the operation were incredible and right on cue. This made an enormous contribution towards her having a completely positive experience and surgery. Thank you!
