Dr. Santos was not transparent about my mother’s true condition. He assured us she was strong enough for “red devil” chemotherapy and said her cancer hadn’t spread and she was still at stage 3. The very next day, my mother rapidly declined, and I learned from the floor doctor she was actually in palliative care and needed hospice.
