Even though the apartment building is under renovation I found the room quite comfortable. Location to Darling Harbour, local train station and ferries was perfect.

The reception was under construction and made it difficult to manoeuvre luggage through to rooms, needing to go down one set of stairs through a heavy self closing door and up another set of stairs.The room was not what was pictured in the advertisement. Room was stark and unwelcoming. Very poor kitchen utensils, one small cup, no mugs no drinking glasses. Not ideal for 2 people. No coffee only mixed flavour teas. I was shocked to say the least. At no point in time was i told about renovations when I booked. I had to lug my heavy case over two flights of stairs to get to reception a little partitioned corner outside room 201 - right outside the lifts. Guess what - that was my room! The stair well doors slamming closed and open at all hours of the night. The lifts going off, reception phone that was never answered. Absolute nightmare, lift out of action due to Reno's, had to lug heavy cases down fire exit stairs. Wasn't locked at night time. Lady was hiding in a booth as you came down stairs. Room was dirty. Road noise terrible. Size of room was fine. Shelving in cupboard filthy, floor had not been mopped. Skirtings hanging off. Outdated furnishings.
