Took my vehicle there yesterday (based on recommendations from others) and they were able to diagnose an issue we've been experiencing for a long time (but Hyundai "experts" could never figure out). Very promising. Gave them go ahead to do work, they said they'd have part ready to do the work today (Friday). Hadnt heard anything, so called at 4:09 to get update. Went here for a power steering check up because it was leaking fluid and was told it would be just under 3 grand with 9 hours of labour along with many other issues they said would be PRICEY all caps. Immediately was rushed on the phone to fix all these issues and they made it seem like my car was going to collapse. Was also LAUGHED at when I told them I haven’t got my oil changed in 5 months saying it needed to be changed way more often than that. SCAM ALERT: $1400 to change spark plugs. 6 hours in LABOUR, Really?!. To top it all off, they pressure you to get it done over the phone, or the car will disintegrate in the parking lot. There’s a better way to do business fellas. There are so many other more ethical mechanics in the city, save yourself the headache to deal with scammers. UPDATE: their response below says that my review is a mistake, again not a very professional response. At least own it.
The folks at Kirkham are friendly and helpful. They make it easy to book an appointment convenient to my schedule. The work is performed and completed as requested with a written report and photos texted when complete. I have booked my last 6 appointments with Kirkham due to the convenience and ease of their service. Thank-you!
