I saw Dr Washington at the ER yesterday. I was sent to the ER by my surgeon for an incision that opened up from surgery a few weeks ago. From the beginning Dr Washington was accusatory acting like I ripped my incision open on purpose. She took a cotton swab (the ones on a wooden stick) and stuck both ends in my abdominal incision, which went a few inches into my stomach. Saw Dr. Washington at the ER yesterday. I’ve never had more confidence in a doctor or felt more at peace than I did with her. She explained to me what was going on, yet still listened to my concerns. Allowed me to make an informed decision about my care. I’m so grateful she was the doctor on duty!
