The tacos and quesadillas were excellent, along with the margaritas and Nanny’s salsa is great!
We got their soup of the day, which was Menudo on the weekend. That food item was great and we’d highly recommend that! Unfortunately the rest of our meal was relatively mediocre and what I would consider as overpriced street food. The chicken fajitas were good, but the chicken was dry and bland. We also got a fish taco and carne asada taco. Both were $5 but did not live up to $5 taco expectations.
Food was average/good but expensive. Asked for a side of rice and beans and was charged $15. They have a coffee maker so I ordered coffee. Ended up with Luke warm instant Folgers. If the coffee maker wasn’t working they should have said so before I saw her mix the instant coffee. I’ve heard the tacos are good. But I was there for breakfast and it ruined it for me.
Super great tacos! Not the most upscale place in town. Small. The two servers were excellent; helpful friendly and kind. Business was slow when we arrived, but our food still took 15 minutes or so. Chips were disappointing, and Nany's salsa was too. HOWEVER...the Chile Colorado and Quesabirria Tacos were more than worth the other drawbacks, and were superbly and supremely the best taco experience.
