Just moved to the area and registered with them. Cannot fault the service, very friendly and helpful.
I have needed to contact surgery a number of times during the last year and very importantly during the last 3 weeks. The waiting time for the phone to be answered has not been too bad and most of the receptionists ( but not all) are very polite and helpful. One in particular but unfortunately I didn't ask her name was so very compassionate and helpful. Passing in messages to GP to contact me and arranging emergency appointments both in surgery and home visits.
Husband went to the reception today, reception told him he needs to be seen by the doctor ASAP yet couldn’t offer him an appointment until 6 weeks time. They said he needs to see somebody before that..but couldn’t actually offer anything. How is this even allowed to happen???? This surgery needs to be shut down and replaced with one where you can actually get appointments. I’ve already moved surgery because of my own issues with the surgery manager and staff, but it sounds like it’s got even worse!
