Excellent experience for my level 1 paddling course with Dan and Andrew. We also had great weather both days and the water temperature mid July is very comfortable. The boats and equipment supplied made the whole experience doable for what is two long days. Thankfully also a very short drive from downtown Ottawa. It rained this morning which wasn't a problem as there's a sizable covered picnic table area for lessons.
Just completed my Level 1 kayak training with Dan and it was a blast The instructor was super up to date on regulations and industry best practices and had a real easy way to explain things. Completely tired bit super happy of this great weekend. Will recommend to anyone who is a tiny bit afraid of kayaking alone but also, to everyone who wants to get more efficient in paddling.
I took a Level 1 kayak course on Saturday and Sunday from the group. The communication was very good and all the questions I asked prior to the course were answered quickly. The instructors were very calm and knowledgable making sure we were comfortable with each skill as we proceeded. I feel so much more confident in my kayak now! Thank you to Abby, Lynette and Dan!
We had a great experience getting our level 1 kayak certification. Abby and Lynette were excellent instructors on the water and on land. Dan got us outfitted and provided excellent instruction as well. Thanks for a great 2 day. Highly recommended!
