Nanetti’s was recommended by an Italian acquaintance as having very real and good Italian pasta. Upon that recommendation, I went for dinner. And I have to say that her recommendation was very correct. I had a simple Pappardelle al Rag� and the size was very generous, and the ragu was exquisite. We came here for dinner and the food & wine was delicious. The staff were super. The atmosphere was lively but quiet enough to talk. We would definitely return. We had the Arancini for starters which was tasty. For the mains we had the ragu and the linguine with mussels, with a side of roasted potatoes. All were delicious. To finish off, we had Tiramsiu which was yummy. We had a lovely experience here and will return.
First time here and (as an italian) I can tell it truly reflects the italian atmosphere and food served. I felt at home from the beginning until the end of my supper. Highly recommended if you want to experience a little peace of italy in Dublin!
For a small, 10 table restaurant, the service was very poor. We sat there for 30 mins after our mains chatting, and nobody gave us a dessert menu or asked did we want another drink. First time I've ever experienced that! We got the bill and left. Felt very transactional, won't be back.
