During our end of stay cleanup we were looking for a missing toy under the cushions of a couch in Bellaview and found a used hyperdermic needle. We tried to contact the staff onsite and sent an email but recieved no response/apology. I shudder to think how bad this could have been if one of the toddlers had of found it. Clearly your units aren't getting cleaned properly which is a gross thought. Also you guys have become so cheap with the distribution of firewood. Unfortunately there is nothing good to say about this place, we have been coming here for as long as I can remember but in the last year the place has has gone to utter crap the toilets don't work and the caretaker didn't give a single care about it also very rude and nearly impossible to contact we were basically a nuisance to them there was no gas the caretaker said we would have to pay $155 for wood the place had improved in the cleanliness department but the caretakig staff make this place a miserable place to be we won'... read more
The 12 person cottage we stayed at was awesome. The location amazing - with only a 2 min walk to the river and swing, the kids were entertained for hours. The cutlery/crookery were clean and kitchen extremely functional- everything you needed was available. In general the cottage was well looked after and the firewood well stocked up. The team had included some matches and fire lighters to get the camp stove/oven going. We will defiantly be back, can highly recommend.
