The whole staff has been amazing every time I see them. They are compassionate, patient and excellent at meeting my needs & explaining information.
Dr. Wendel did the surgery for my husband’s breast cancer. She is kind and attentive to his needs. Her staff made my husband welcome in the breast care center . Dr. Wendel is experienced with male and female breast cancer. We are confident of her expertise . Her nurses coordinated his care with his other St. Luke’s physicians, and they were efficient at getting his surgery expedited after diagnosis.My husband is on the road to recovery. St Luke’s hospital woman center found a tumor during a regular mammogram and informed me for follow up immediately. The team at the woman center has been very helpful and supportive. I have biopsy, contrast MRI and surgery done within 30 days. Dr Wendel is my surgeon. She explained everything clearly and professionally before and the day of surgery. Horrible wait time and poor treatment by staff. Was here at 10:10 for 10:15 appointment. Sat in waiting area after checking in and Had to complain about long wait at 10:50. They tried to tell me at the front desk that I was not registered— but then they discovered I had already checked in with my insurance cards— so I clearly was. Then they were rude and told me I was late and they would have to work me in because I was late. I was not late— checked in before my appointment time of 10:15.
