Steaks looked delicious. Chicken parm was dry like it sat under a heat lamp for 5 minutes. Drinks were good. Manager dropped lemon cello drinks. Broken glass, lemon cello on the table and the floor. Got on two of our shoes and pants. He didnt send anyone to clean it up. I had to alert one of the servers as they were bringing another tables food so they wouldn't slip or step on glass. Absolutely amazing each time I have gone! Due to price it is only saved for special dinners but is definitely worth it. I will continue to go back! Editing my review to say they definitely disappointed me this time. Paid 120$ for A5 waygu and got served a peppered to hell steak with 1 small roasted golden potatoe underneath, a head of roasted garlic I had to squeeze/ peel, and an odd piece of corn. The food was good but the attitude of the manager seems extremely lacking. This is based on my visit on June 15 around 7-8 pm and you could see that there was a clear distinction in service and greetings provided by him to his favorite tables while completely dismissing other guests (like us) visiting for the first time. We spent over $170+ for two people but not even a smile or welcome or a greeting..ours was the only table that he avoided…very poor
Our favorite restaurant in Champaign. The food and service is outstanding. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night or group dining, but not intimidating for families. In nice weather, we love to sit on the patio. The dinner and drink menu changes just enough to give you amazing variety while keeping the classics.
