Nancy Sinoway took great care to make sure my gown fit perfectly. From the moment I stepped inside her studio, I felt comfortable, secure and confident that I went to the right place. She advised me about undergarments and suggested a way to keep the heels of my bridal shoes from getting dirty as I took pictures outside on my big day. I am so happy I brought my wedding dress to Nancy for alterations! I didn’t need a ton of alterations, but her adjustments made all the difference. My dress fit my like a dream on the day. Every detail was absolutely perfect. Nancy is also hilarious and so down to earth. My mom and I always had a great time during my fittings.
Went to her for advice on a safety jacket for the elderly. She gave me a lot of good feedback to consider. Would definitely go to her again for another project as she seems like the real deal and can do A-Z.
I ordered my gown from BHDLN and needed someone to help me with all the tailoring. Nancy fitted my gown perfectly, created sleeves from an off the shoulder bodice, and upon her suggestion, fashioned a bustle in the back when I thought I’d only be able to have a simple hem. She took my gown and made it into a showstopper! Nancy pays attention to details- fastening a little blue satin ribbon to the comb of a veil and tying it to a hanger in a garment bag, and even advising about the best undergarments and heel protectors.
