She was the only doctor to listen to my concerns about PCOS. She has actively been trying to treat and maintain the symptoms. She has been a wonderful doctor for me. I was referred by a friend who’s wife had unexplainable pain/ heavy periods/ infertility. Tons of doctors passed her up, she went to Dr. Bucy and she was the only doctor to run test to find out she had cancer. I was reminded of the traumatic experience I had with this dr by a Facebook post. I went in to have my nexplanon replaced. She completely butchered the procedure all the while telling me how upset she was with Black Lives Matter and her political reviews. I don’t want to hear this while you are cutting into my arm let alone from someone who is suppose to be professional. I sent a complaint and never received a response. I’m sad to be happy that I’m not the only one who had bad experience with her.
My 22 year old daughter went for some concerns of pain and discomfort. She told her she was 1 point away from being obese (which she absolutely is not), told her she was wrong on the dates of her periods (which she tracks), and completely disregarded her history (immediate family and personal) of cysts. Dr seemed more concerned with her weight than the patient herself.
Absolutely traumatizing. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS AND FIND ANOTHER OBGYN!!!!!!! Dr. Bucy is the prime example of why it's hard for women or the younger generation to reach out and find a primary OBGYN. I wish I would have read the reviews first. I found Dr. Bucy due to the heartland women's health office being so close to my house. My OB retired years ago and I was over due for a visit.
