Nanaimo sheet metal worked with our carpenter Dutch Carpenter and Co to create a very custom, lightweight but strong powder coated aluminum handrail for our balcony refresh. The custom profile on the larger handrail feels so much better than a stock model, and it is rock solid after install. The powder coating is very high quality and has resisted some pretty tough scratches so far. After many unsuccessful online searches and plenty of running around Nanaimo looking for a specific mount for my down riggers, my search finally ended when someone recommended Nanaimo Sheet Metal. There I met a gentleman named Lowell. He was very professional, kind, honest, and with his expert knowledge, he designed, fabricated and installed a swivel locking mounting bracket for the downriggers for my boat! Lowell was very helpful. We once got NSM to fabricate us a skateboard flat bar rail, because we’re so hip and so cool.
Fantastic work by Nanaimo Sheet Metal. They created a customized bar drip tray for the Students Union Pub at VIU, very durable and made with true artistry thank you Len! I highly recommend.
