Truly can’t thank the team here enough for the care I experienced during my visit. I was visiting from out of town and began experiencing concerning symptoms with chest pain, erratic heart rate, trouble breathing, etc. I was brought to the ER and Nurse Ethan was incredibly prompt, thorough, and validating in his triage support, and that care and dedication was equally matched by Nurse Emily and Dr. Alex when I was brought through. I am 60 years old. I waited 12 hours overnight in a hard chair only to finally see a doctor for under two minutes. He checked my breathing and told me the sickness and chronic cough I’d had for 4 weeks wasn’t anything to worry about. Fine—in hindsight, I shouldn’t have gone to Emerg. BUT this city offers nowhere else to go. I had already tried the walk-in clinic three times—even when I got there at 6:30 AM, I was 25th in line (waiting outside in the rain!) for the mall to open. My 2 year old son came in gasping for air. 5 hour wait. Rudest staff I've ever seen. No compassion. I hope you can avoid the emergency here and go to somewhere that cares.
