Very difficult experience. I was referred to her by my OB after having recurrent miscarriages and a positive blood clotting panel. She was dismissive, disrespectful, and told me to take a baby aspirin and I'll be fine (which I did with the pregnancies I miscarried). Thankfully, I was able to get in with a high-risk OB and high-risk hematologist. I felt like just a statistic and not a human to her. Recurrent Loss is extremely difficult and she made it much harder. Please don't go to her if you are experiencing this.
Very bad experience. Was in my room for less than 3 minutes during first meeting. Very dismissive. Zero compassion. Acted like I was wasting her time. Didn’t address any symptoms or attempt to treat. All around was not pleased with her as a provider, especially in her field of work.
She was the one one that dismissed me from the office and her office manager and I will not choose her as your doctor and she will dismissed you from office like she did me and now all of my friends and family are mad at dr vontela and her nurse and her office manager and I wish they will get a new office manager and a new dr to take vontela spot and her nurse to
I wouldn’t even give her a star if I could. She was the on call doctor over the weekend. My husband has head and neck cancer and was out of his pain meds. She refused to call him in any because it was the weekend… she literally told me that I need to remember to ask for more during the week day!!! My husband is stage 4 and has blisters all throughout his mouth and throat. What kind of ONCOLOGY doctor refuses to call in pain meds?!
