I do not recommend Dr. Kim. He was defensive and rude when I asked perfectly legitimate questions, post-surgery, about the surgery, outcome, next steps, etc. The 3 other surgeons I consulted for my 2nd surgery said part of the procedure he used isn't something they do. It's not medically wrong, it's just outdated and unnecessary. It doesn't improve access or outcome and is unnecessarily invasive. Dr Kim was the surgeon who treated my tongue cancer. He came highly recommended and I know why, he is a great surgeon and great person. Dr Kim made me feel like he cared and was very responsive to any questions or needs. I would recommend him to anyone needing a head and neck surgeon.
Dr. Kim did my mouth, neck cancer surgery. Highly recommend. Wonderful surgeon.
Dr Kim was my surgeon and came highly recommended by ENT . I was told I would probably need a Tongue flap which is tough and can take significant time to recover from . Dr Kim was able to complete the surgery and save my tongue while avoiding the flap and giving me great margins. My radiology oncologist told me Dr Kim is so good he would have his family drive from California to receive treatment from Dr Kim, anyone needing Head and Neck surgery should consider Dr Kim . Jon
