Thank you NAMI Keystone PA for the information provided, the classes, the support groups, organizing the walk to help take away the stigma, the political experience and activism to help fix a broken system. We all benefit from the caring individuals working at NAMI that go out of their way to educate and support us, our friends and family.

I took the Connection Recovery Support Group facilitator training and learned everything I needed to provide informed support to peers in my community. I truly feel as though I'm making a difference. If you're in Pennsylvania and would like to get involved in mental health advocacy, or with NAMI in general, I would recommend bookmarking namikeystonepa.org to stay up-to-date on all the trainings they're offering. They are the best!

NAMI is to mental illness as Autism Speaks is to autism. I’m tired of these types of organizations monetizing our identities. I’m so proud of my friend Alyssa Cypher for her hard work with ... read more

I was able to attend this two day training in Harrisburg and was impressed with presenters telling their stories of recovery, the research that was shared that dispelled the link between mental illness and violence, and the information provided on what was currently happening in Washington DC that could effect mental health funding and services. The event was extremely well done. Thanks NAMI Keystone.

I only found out that NAMI existed and everything that the organization provides within the last 6 months. I personally have gained more from participating in the programs offered to me than I can express in words. The tools I am learning are vital to staying in recovery, versus struggling to stay alive and healthy. I personally think, because of NAMI offering their services FREE you are constantly surrounded by people who genuinely care. I am ready to give back what I've been given from NAMI. Through IIOV and recently becom... read more
