Shopping, hate it. But it was my good fortune to be helped by Gianna. Not only was she most helpful, she was super informative. Every question I had, she answered with complete knowledge and confidence. She was so pleasant that I will be back, probably more than once. It's a breath of fresh air to be helped totally and professionally like I was by Gianna. Namco should be proud to have an employee like her. GOT A POOL!!!! Who would have thought. DOES NOT HONOR WARRANTY/HORRIBLE QUALITY PRODUCT/CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE!!! Purchased my pool in mid May 2014 and the Oops warranty (which we were told was 3-years, but was only 2.) After a nightmare and being misled regarding delivery, it was finally received and installed in late June. Over the winter, the seam of the liner tore and we lost all of the water and the wall became damaged. This was all covered under the manufacturer's warranty. We had a similar experience to Kim G. We purchased a pool at the Auburn store in June 2014 and the store gave us the run around and the installers were terrible, 3 weeks late of the original install date. The install was poor and the installers charged us extra for a 2 inch grade on our pretty flat lot. They delivered equipment to do the work at 11 PM at night and woke up our entire neighborhood. this business deserves no stars. it is one of the most unfriendly, unhelpful businesses I have to deal with. grumpy manager, not to mention they are OUT of chlorine tablets on one of the most busy time of year. And last year I had enough points to earn a $25 credit, and the cashier told me it didn't expire, if I wanted to use it next year. well, guess what? I was told it's expired and I can't use it. Run as fast as you can from buying a pool here! Brand new pool fell apart within a few months after being installed by a professional recommeded by Namco. Installer would not call me back and Namco says they are not responsible for installer's actions. Paid extra for extended warranty. Namco's answer from customer servicde was to have new pool walls delivered to the store. They would only charge me $500.00 for them as I am a good customer! Bought a 4 1/2" x 15 balloon for closing of pool. Opened a week later to blow up. Had several holes in it, called Namco, but without a receipt showing we paid cash they would not replace or refund. People I spoke with had every excuse as why not to exchange it. I will never do business or recommend Namco to anyone I know.
I bought a large rectangular Arctic Pool Cover from Namco last season. As we were draining the rainwater and leaves off the cover in the Spring, we realized there was a huge seam that had come totally undone. It was a huge mess to get the cover off, all the leaves and algae spewed into the clean pool below. I purchased a top of the line 18x33 oval pool there in 2005. Unfortunatley, we have not had one season where it has been fully functional. The liner that we purchased with the pool, caves in and we loose thousands of gallons of water. We have contacted the warranty department and they will not stand behind their product. They said that because the seams did not rip, they will not warranty it.
