Desk staff incompetent which lets down a wonderful practice
Impassable Reception. The practice is autocratic, robotic, rigid, and focused only on money. But doctors are good.
I had enrolled my kids and myself as patients when we arrived on the Sunshine Coast 18 months ago. Today I booked the first appointment for my son, only to be called 10 min. after saying that new patients aren't accepted on a Saturday. Why? I had enrolled him 18 months ago. We ended up going to Caloundra at the minor surgery clinic which advised us to go directly to an hospital... why making it so difficult for working parents?
Great staff overall and the best doc I've ever had, truly cares about my journey too sobriety and remembers who I am after months, thank you doctor PL.
Terrible adherence to appointment times. Last visit was 50 minutes after booked time (out of my work day), for a 5 minute appointment yet full price. I write this as I currently sit in the waiting room 30 minutes waiting and nothing yet...
