Very bad service. I do not recommend this place at all. I went in for a pedicure and a soak-off. From the beginning, the first technician started complaining about how thick my nails were — even though I was literally there paying for a service. That already made me uncomfortable. Then another technician, a lady with short hair and highlights, started removing my X-gel using a nail tip to pry them off. Very old style of a nail salon. Service isn’t amazing. WORST PART: you can only tip in cash. Put a sign, then! When I asked the lady why I couldn’t add the tip on my receipt, she told me they only take cash and to go to the bank down the corner…. So now I need to get charged atm fees for a bank I don’t belong to, to tip a service that was subpar. I only went to this place because it was located near Fresh Market - never again.

I am new to Alexandria and needed to find a new nail salon. I was so lucky to find Tammy at Nails Exel. She is excellent. M gel micures and pedicures last at least three weeks and don't chip. I get Big Apple Red on my toes and French maintenance nails. Make an appointment when possible but she also takes walk-ins.

Awful and painful experience. They don’t seem to use OPI colors. They just refill the bottles. When I asked my tech about the color not matching OPI she was aggressive and cut my finger nails to the beds. It was painful and I am bleeding in a few spots.
