One of the best nail places in LA. Period. Not only Sherman Oaks. I’ve been so disappointed at some places in BH or Weho. But Nail Affair is never disappointing. They’re available, nice, and doing the best job. Update: I went today to ask for a change of polish and a fix on 2 nails that got broken, they asked $50. I thought it was a bit pricey given the fact that I’ve been a returning customer for a year.. so I left and went next door, they did it for $30 even though they never saw me before. Really disappointing experience. I came in for a French tip pedicure with chrome, but several of my toenails are crooked and the chrome was applied poorly. I was also nicked multiple times to the point of bleeding. The pedicure took two hours, which is much longer than any I’ve had before. On top of that, there were toenail clippings left on the chair that I didn’t notice until after I sat down, and one even poked me through my shorts. The lack of cleanliness was really concerning. Neighborhood gem. The salon is clean, and the entire nail staff is excellent. Helen and Tella are truly exceptional. The receptionist, London, is incredibly kind and welcoming—she always makes an effort to accommodate clients and greets everyone who walks in. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and you can tell the staff genuinely enjoy working here. Helen, the owner, is wonderful and creates such a positive environment. Keep shining, Nail Affair!
Love the service. However, no spa massage chairs bit very comfortable seating.
I’ve been going to Nail Affair for a few years now. I’ve had great experiences every time! They are always thoughtful and efficient but provide great results. I always get gel and have done several nail art designs they have always done so well! Prices are very reasonable and it’s a calm vibe inside.
