Great selection and service!! And to the person saying they bought a "Colorful" Jelly Bean Parrot Cichlid.. You didn't research the fact that these fish were yellow or purple before hand? Also, they buy the fish like this, due to demand of people like yourself thinking they are pretty... Anyhow, like I said they have an amazing selection of fish, and also, the service is fantastic. When I go to a fish store, I want someone to chat with about the fish and questions I may have, and they are more than willing to do so!
I went to this store and was advised to buy 3 colorful parrot cichlids. They were expensive but I liked the fish. When I got home I looked up how to care for these fish and find that the coloring process was cruel and to never buy these types of colored blood parrot ciclids. I was annoyed with this store but as they swam in my 125 gallon tank I decided to keep them even though their lifespan is shorter due to forced coloration. Wonderful people and place! I was very impressed how clean it was and how good all the tanks looked. My kids loved it as well. They let them feed the koi and they had a blast. Thanks Nahackys for being in business all these years!
I've been doing business with Nahacky's for some 20+ years. Never had a problem. They are friendly, knowledgeable and treat their customers with respect. If you have a problem with Nahacky's, take a look at yourself!
this is the only fish store in Melbourne, that I have found KNOWS what they are talking about!!All the other stores such as incrediable pets are a joke!! Go to Nahackys they are the best and Very knoledgeable also!!!
