There is only one really excellent sushi bar in Long Beach. This is not it. I give the restaurant high marks for decor and service but the food is simply sub par. The sushi and sashimi simply do not taste fresh. That is completely unacceptable. I would never take that chance. The cooked food is good but again, there is a better choice in this locale. Find it.
