With the closing of my primary care physician's office I was looking to find a physician who would not only provide the care that I needed, but would do so in a collaborative manner. Dr Akmed not only works in that manner but has been a guide as I enter a significant transitional phase. She is thorough, warm and available to answer my questions and concerns. I feel that her knowledge and skills are what I am looking for in my primary care physician.
