Dr Abdelbasit has been my Mother's primary care physician for several years. My Mother has Parkinson's and her health + finances dictate that she needs Medicaid long term care. Dr Abdelbasit refuses to fill out the paperwork that the long term care facility is required by the state to obtain. Absolutely horrible and cold hearted practice. I missed my first new patient appointment due to a death in my family. I called to severely apologize, as we hadn’t realized how quickly my family member’s illness was progressing. When trying to reschedule the receptionist was completely rude, had no sympathy, and treated me as if I was stupid and had done this before to them. I would not reccomend this dr. In my experience she was unkind and dismissed all of my concerns. Her demeanor quickly turned rude and defensive when I did not agree with her plan of care and asked to explore other options. She’s not willing to have a conversation about your preference on care or even your opinion on what’s going on with your own body and if you don’t agree with her approach she drops you as a patient.
