Dr. Farooque and staff performed metal allergy testing for my upcoming knee replacement. They were efficient and explained the process thoroughly. Dr. Farooqui is personable and considerate. On one occasion he called to tell me he was stuck in traffic and would be a few minutes late. I’ve never had a doctor do that!
In the fall of 2022, I was stung by a bee and ended up with mild hives a week later, which was normal for me. The hives stuck around for longer than normal and in the middle of that I contracted covid. I took Paxlovid and the hives absolutely exploded to nothing I’ve ever experienced. A week later, Dr. Farooqui got me in and started me on a regimen of antihistamines and steroids. He also got me approved for Xolair shots. However, my system was still angry.
