Can't wait for this years Seafood Festival, if you have never been you are missing out! It's a family friendly weekend filled with fun, laughter, music, wonderful people, and of course all types of SEAFOOD!!!
Im from IL and NC seafood fest is the best fest in the US.
If this is your thing, go for it, but I won't be back. It's not a celebration of local seafood, it's a carnival. All of the local seafood is tucked away on small card tables with minimal signage, while state fair style mega-vendors rule the streets with non-seafood fried goods from God knows where. Outer Banks Seafood Festival was a much better experience. If you want a real celebration of seafood go to that one.
