I can’t say enough great things about Captain Erick! This trip was wonderful from beginning to end. Captain Erick did an amazing job giving us the history of the area. He showed us on his wooden table map exactly where we were and what we were looking at as we were sailing. Pointing out the surrounding islands, giving us the backstory to some of the houses and people who lived there. We can’t wait to be repeat customers with Mystic River Cruises! Even despite a misty, moody weather type of day, we had a great time exploring with Captain Erick. He made the whole process very easy and also shared fascinating insights about the local history as we sailed. The views were stunning, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. I highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking for a memorable way to explore the area!
I went on my trip to c.t. around the 10th of September. My boyfriend and I always wanted to go on a little cruise and we picked the perfect one. The driver of the cruise was a wonderful conversationalist which made the cruise even better. He made us feel very comfortable on the cruise. He even provided a little table for our drinks and food, blankets and luckily he had a corkscrew for our wine bottle as well!!! (Lifesaver!!) We booked Mystic River Cruises for a bachelorette celebration. Gorgeous vintage wooden picnic boat. As a boater, I especially appreciated how quiet the motor was. Trust me, this is something most people don't think about, but this boat is just so beautiful and quiet--perfect for having conversations and just enjoying.
