Great place for bruch – By far one of my favorite places for brunch on the weekends. They pretty much have everything you are looking for.
Good Guinness, tasty fish – Great neighborhood and fun place to grab a beer or three. Whether it's after a Cubs game in midsummer or a Thursday night in the dead of winter, you and your friends will enjoy yourselves.
Good Times – I've been going to Mystic Celt for a few years now, and I always really enjoy it. The food is ok, the deals are awesome, and the service is always really great. This is a great bar to head to for a fun night out.
Good Happy Hour – Co-workers and I went to Mystic Celt after work for Happy Hour. The place had a nice crowd for both indoor and outdoor dining and drinking. They had good drink specials for beer and cocktails plus a variety of appetizers to choose from. The appetizer that I enjoyed the most was the Lettuce Wrap. The only negative of the evening is parking can be very challenging on Southport and many restrictions on the side streets.

Oh yeah, the Irish themed weekend brunch is worthwhile too!
Just Like Miami... – Very good food and presentation, The service is great as well, only other time I enjoyed this food was in south beach.
Irish-inflected dining meets upscale pub atmosphere at this lively Southport spot. – In Short Owner Eamonn Vaughan (Corcoran's, Vaughan's) created this handsome space, done up in cherry wood with warm golden accents. On weekends, a loud local crowd packs the cozy front bar; a full dining area in back has a more mellow scene. Upscale bar food and Irish specialties make up the menu: The combo starter platter offers Cajun chicken fingers, calamari, sauteed mushrooms and mozzarella sticks. Entrees include shepherd's pie with a t... read more
Sundays – I cant think of anything more relaxing than enjoying a long lunch at the MC on Sunday afternoons. I stress the word long because the kitchen seems to slooooow roast everything. Also although the wait staff makes overatures at being polite and attentive they fall just short of polite. Wheather this adds to the "cool" appeal or they just had a late Saturday expect slow mediocre service. That being said, the food when it arrives is terrific (my favorite are the Onion Rings). And the atmosphere provides a energetic but... read more
