3.5 Stars. The Cottage is quaint but having been spoilt by newer hotels these days, you definitely notice the lack of space and modernity in the cottage. Still, this isn't Sydney and the Cottage did the job we needed for the night - at a decent price. Wouldn't rush to book here again when next visiting the Hunter.
A cute cottage which covered all our needs,neat and clean..thank you to the owner and her team also at the Myrtle and Stone cafe next door for excellent service 8/10. George and Kath.
Great location and a lovely room. There aren't any instructions on how to use the tv so it took a bit to figure it out. No wifi which is very annoying when you've no signal either. Otherwise it was good.
We stayed here for three nights. The general decor was modern, light and clean, the bed was comfy. It was in the heart of a beautiful village that just sat outside the main hustle & bustle of The Hunter Valley. Now, given the fact that the cottage was next door to the cafe that was run by the same people that the cottage was and they also run the local tavern just in the T junction.
